Protecting your privacy is crucial to our relationship with you.
We collect information about you and your skills to build a true reflection of you and your talent. Fundamental to our ethos is presenting 'True Talent' to employers. To be true, that information needs to be real and we understand that this is private and we have a responsibility to you. We take this responsibility seriously
True Talent Group Pty Ltd (ABN 71 672 980 960) is committed to protecting the privacy of your personal information and we work to protect and secure your information in accordance with our legal requirements under the Privacy and Personal Information Protection Act 1998 and Health Records and Information Privacy Act 2002.
Personal Information is collected for the purposes of providing our services to you and we do not request information that is notnecessary to proving those services. We may collect information about you such as your name, contact details, skills, qualifications, accreditations and your employment history. Subject to the requirements of employers and associated legislative requirements we may collect additional compliance, regulatory and certification information.
We may collect information upon registration with the True Talent marketplace and we may collect additional information through the recruitment process as required. True Talent may also collect information from public record and third party sources. Information is collected in a secure platform and stored in AWS Australia, an Australian domiciled Data Centre.
We use and disclose your personal information for the purposes for which we collect it, as well as purposes that are related, where you would reasonably expect us to or otherwise as set out in this Privacy Policy.
We disclose your personal information to our third party suppliers in confidence and in accordance with the law for the purpose of providing our services to you, conducting our business and communicating with you.
We will not use or disclose your personal information for other purposes without first seeking your consent, unless authorised or required by law. Generally, we will use and disclose your personal information for the following purposes:
- to provide services to you
- to promote you and your skills to relevant employers
- to manage any inquiries from you
- to communicate with you on industry information such as trends, vacancies and other related matters
- we may release information to regulatory or law enforcement authorities, if they require us to do so
- for research, reporting, analysis and benchmarking,
- we may also seek your consent to collect, manage, use your personal information for other purposes not listed above.
Within the Privacy Act 1988 provisions are made for sensitive information. Sensitive information includes racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, membership of a political association, religious beliefs or affiliations, philosophical beliefs, membership of a professional or trade association, membership of a trade union, sexual preferences or practices, criminal records and health information. Where we need to collect sensitive information, we will provide the purpose for the collection and use of such information, and we will only disclose it with your consent.
We take all reasonable steps to ensure personal information is secure. Recognising that we operate a digital service we recognise that the internet is not always a secure means of communicating and protecting information. Whilst we seek to protect your personal information, and take all reasonable steps to do so, including ISO27001, True Talent Group Pty Ltd cannot accept responsibility for the security of information you provide to us or receive from us either via the platform or via email communications.
You can access your personal information in the True talent Market Place as contained in the ‘Workforce Wallet’ and you can edit it directly. Should you need assistance you can contact us to request a correction or deletion of the information. Where information has been shared with employers past and present and where changes are made we reserve the right to retain a copy of previous information to support any future enquiries in the event and the extent that they are required.
Should you wish to submit a complaint we commit to acknowledging as soon as possible and resolving within 30 days subject to the nature of the complaint and in circumstances where this is not possible we commit to resolving a complaint in a reasonable andpractical timeframe.
We may make changes to this Privacy Policy from time to time and update changes on our website. If you continue to use our services after any such changes, you will be deemed to accept and agree to such changes.
